Vice President Joe Biden is in Iraq where he’ll visit US troops and meet with Iraqi leaders now that US troops have withdrawn from the major cities in Iraq. He also will push Iraqi leaders to make more progress toward political reconciliation. Biden is overseeing the administration's Iraq policy and working with its government to overcome political differences and achieve reconciliation.
