Fatal crash near Ellendale PDF Print E-mail

State Police say a deadly accident happened just outside Ellendale last evening. Police say it was a two-vehicle collision and that after the crash Major Foster of Lincoln ran away from the scene and then ran north on Route 113 in the southbound lane of travel. He was hit by the driver’s side mirror of one car and then hit by another vehicle. The 45-year old Foster was killed in this crash. State Police say Mr. Foster was a suspended driver.  A 42-year old man from Georgetown—William Gibbs had a wrist injury due to the crash.
