Sunday, 01 November 2009

The battle to prevent the H1N1 influenza moves into Delaware’s schools this week.   State Health officials will be in Delaware elementary schools beginning this week to give kids in grades K through 5 the H1N1 flu mist nasal spray.  Only students who have their parents’ permission will receive the vaccination.  Then the following week, the H1N1 vaccination campaign moves to the middle and high schools – the older students will receive the injectable vaccine.
