The H1N1 flu vaccination of school students is getting underway this week. Public elementary school students in three districts are scheduled to be immunized today and tomorrow. Now why do certain schools get picked? What is the criteria? Basically the schools are chosen based on the response they gave and the amount of vaccine available to meet the need of that response as soon as possible. Response means the need—the number of kids whose parents wished them to be vaccinated--According to Jennifer Wooleyhand of the Delaware Division of Public Health
