The murder conviction and death sentence for James Cook was reversed last July by the state Supreme Court.  Saying that a similar issue could occur anywhere in the country – Attorney General Beau Biden is requesting a review of the case by the US Supreme Court.  Cooke was convicted in the death of UD student Lindsay Bonistall but the court ruled that Cooke's right to a fair trial was violated when his lawyers sought a verdict of guilty but mentally ill.
