7th death in DE from H1N1 influenza

While there have been no new reports of anyone ill with H1N1 influenza in recent weeks, a 7th Delawarean has died from the illness.  State Public Health officials say a 47 year old Kent County man died Sunday from an H1N1-related illness.  He was hospitalized on February 8th and tested positive for H1N1 nine days later – he did have several underlying health conditions.

What in the heck does this article mean, no one has been ill with swine flu but someone died of it? Or they died of something else, never showed signs or symptoms of flu and had a positive blood test for flu? Talk about fear mongering.

It means that his illness hadn’t been previously reported in the media, but he did die from the virus.
