Legislation prohibiting kids under 18 from using tanning beds being considered in Maryland
Kids under 18 would no longer be allowed to use tanning beds in Maryland under legislation that the state general assembly is considering. Representatives from the American Academy of Dermatology Association, the Maryland Coalition for the Prevention of Skin Cancer and the American Cancer Society were scheduled to testify for the legislation today. The World Health Organization’s cancer division last summer listed tanning beds as definitive causers of cancer, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is considering tougher tanning bed regulation.

OMG…Here goes the “family image” of Ocean City, (MD). What’s next with these clowns? I can see the headline, now: “OCEAN CITY BANS CHILDREN FROM BEACH: KILLER SUNSHINE COULD CAUSE CANCER”
