Someone called in a bomb threat to a Delaware high school yesterday. Around 9 AM on Tuesday, Middletown Police received a report of a bomb at the Appoquinimink High School. The students and staff were evacuated and Delaware State Troopers and K-9 Units swept the school for explosives. Nothing suspicious was located and students returned to classes around 10:30. At the end of last school year 6 bomb threats were called into schools around the state, and there were a rash of threats over the winter as well. However, Police have yet to respond whether they think those past incidents and this new one are connected.
