Berlin Woman Arrested for Taking Money from Ocean City Church

A Berlin woman has been arrested after officials at St. George Greek Orthodox Church discovered money missing. Ocean City Police met with church officials in May as well as the suspect, 51 year old Teresa Kolacz. With help from the Worcester County State’s Attorney, it was determined that Kolacz stole over $100,000 since June of 2017. She turned herself in to Ocean City Police last month. Kolacz is charged with theft, embezzlement and 11 counts of forgery. She’s free on a $50,000 bond.
