Fighting Islamofascism
December 2nd, 2006 by Dan GaffneyTwo guys who were instrumental in helping bring down Communism during the Cold War are now organizing to fight radical Islam, as World Net Daily reports:
Wheeler and Baldwin say anti-communism was “the defining issue that brought hundreds of thousands of people into the conservative movement in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. There was a sense that this movement had to be successful if not only America but Western Civilization itself were to survive.” They say the current war of global conquest being waged by Islamofascists will be an even tougher fight than the battle that focused on the Soviet Union. “But we don’t seem to be prepared for this war,” they write. “Unlike the movement created during the Cold War, there doesn’t seem to be much of an infrastructure to combat Islamofascism.” The agenda for such a movement should include the following activities and efforts, they say:
- investigate radical mosques
- support anti-Islamofascist freedom fighters
- thwart attempts to impose Sharia law
- form an anti-Islamofascist publishing network
- create an anti-Islamofascist portal on the Internet
- establish an anti-Islamofascist speakers bureau
- wage an ideological assault on Islamofascism
- support efforts to evangelize Muslims in Europe and the Middle East
- create a global anti-Islamofascist coalition
- reframe the illegal immigration issue as one of national security
- end dependence on foreign oil that’s funding the Islamofascists.
The 910 group website tells all. They have a blog and a forum on the topic.

i’m going to go out on a limb and say you were formerly known as diamondcats? What I gleaned from your above “sentence” is that you belive islam to be a religion of hate (good job on making that clear). And at the same time few of the muslims you know are ALWAYS talking bad about america? Is that really what you meant?

Christians and Jews believe Islam is a religion of hate. Muslims believe Christianity and Judaism are religions of hate. So who is right?
Answer, neither is correct! It is the radical practitioners of these religions/faiths that behave in an evil manner.
They use their scriptures, cherry-picking verses to claim their absolute truths, and cherry-picking verses from the scriptures of their rivals to demonstrate their corruptions.
This is all a wicked game of domination played by generations down through the millennia.
Hopefully, in this age of globalization, globalization in commerce and communications, we will grow to respect one another’s beliefs instead of wishing only to dominate and to kill people in the process.
Let us all compete in the global marketplace to bring prosperity to the the four corners of our globe, rather than competing in weapons development and warfare which brings nothing but despair to “winners” and “losers” alike.
Most of all, let us have the deepest respect for the sanctity of life, the golden rule, from which good behavior will flow more abundantly.
Finally, let us Americans admit to ourselves that we have a long way to go to even reach for these goals, as we seem to have lost our way, our values, and to have gotten off track.
It is never too late to change course!!!
