I too was put off by the material aspect of it. Mostly because it seemed too focused on the material and financial aspect of positive thought, positive living. Saw the book last week and have little interest in reading it but, being a member of the Spiritual Cinema Network, the movie was this month's choice. I'll watch it but doubt the motivation I'd like to see and enjoy will be there, either. I would, however, vouch for releasing to the universe's "efficacy".
