This morning I spoke with Bobbie Reitz, the waitress from the Royal Treat on Wilmington Avenue in Rehoboth Beach, to find out about First Lady Laura Bush’s visit to the restaurant last Thursday.

We have to correct the description of what Laura Bush ate from the previous post. While sausage was apparently involved in the meal, Mrs. Bush ordered bacon. She also had Italian toast. You can listen to Ms. Reitz describe what the First Lady ate HERE.

Mrs. Bush had bacon, not sausage.

Mrs. Bush had “Italian toast,” pictured above, disregard all of the other stuff on the plate.
