Having dealt with him several times on a professional level, here is no way would I ever vote for Atkins, regardless of party affiliation. His profound lack of respect for the law pre-dates the DUI/alleged spousal abuse debacle. Regarding him doing the "honorable thing", those close to the situation know he had no choice. This latest attempt is fueled by fueled by pure arrogance and ego. The majority of my family reside in the 41st, some of whom voted for him the first time. I can say with certainty that we will all be voting against him should he find a way to run again. Perhaps, based on actual experiences, I have a different perspective. Never heard of Greg Hastings before the election and havent heard from him since he was put in office.
