This is a shame. It isn't funny. It redefines low-class from someone who should know better. I know that "talk radio" has to generate some controversy in order to sustain itself but this is bottom feeding behavior. I have the option - actually, we all do - of not listening and turning him off (which I do) and will continue to do so. It's not a liberal/conservative, left wing/right wing, pro government/anti-government, or us vs. them thing. It's a let's treat people the way we'd like to be treated thing - something Mr. Colley does not understand.

It's a shame WGMD is so short sighted that they replaced a reasonably tolerant "conservative" like Randy Nelson with someone like Mr. Colley. While I'm not going to call for his head, as he does have the right to cry "Theater" in a crowded firehouse, I wish management would ring him in a little.

...Unless management actually wants to encourage this kind of behavior for this time slot.

The photo gallery link on the home page has archives on it and when you click on them, it goes to a "my space" type forum. I wonder how I might be able to retrieve that picture. Would love to see it.

I remember seeing a picture of Bill Colic riding a bicycle with a orange windsuit on. It was one of the 'pictures of the day'. He looked like a gorged traffic cone.

Skimmersmom, please tell us just where the picture of the gentleman on his bike might be found and thanks . And Nancy, many thanks for agreeing with me, you added to my exact thoughts. And yes, I do wish they could fix the blog site. I assume they know about it.

I had nothing positive to say about this post so kept my mouth shut...or at least fingers still...but have to agree with bucksmom with respect to her comments regarding Mr. Bill's attitude toward women and certainly with regards to his general commentary on Delaware, it's governing bodies and a few other areas. Not any better than those of us who move here because it has something we want...be it an ambience, atmosphere, job...and then want to change it to whatever it is we left. Hell, in some respects I'd go back to MN in a heartbeat because for the short time I lived there, I loved it...doesn't mean I want to turn RB and Lewes into a Twin Cities 'wannabe'. What we came here for we found and, if we didn't...tough beans, adjust. But, whether a guest or incomer, isn't it manners to say as little negative as possible until one has been here long enough to experience both good and bad fully...not just what one reads or hears from others? I might change that opinion when he's been here long enough to vote for a county or State government...just like the rest of us who've done so, the right to do that with/without angering a community will certainly be his...and others like him...then.

I will say I don't necessarily disagree with some of his comments but they still seem 'out of order'.

Mr. Bill has a few listeners who he is nice to, namely Rick and Gene, and Frank. Of course one should never be unkind to Frank because he is a very intelligent person who is very well informed. My main problems with Mr. Bill is his complete disrespect for women, and the fact that he has only been in the state for approximately 7 months and he has managed to comment on the state's issues in a mostly negative manner. Remember how he absolutely tried to trash Del-Dot and also said some unkind words about Pete Schwartzkopf about his proposed organ donor bill. I feel that his dedication to listeners lies mostly in New Jersey as he is always referring to the Jersey people and their problems. I realize that Jersey listeners are important also, but all of the stations sponsors are in Delaware. Keep up the good work Bill.
