Sure, they need somebody else to fill Goodman's shoes ... no problem ... that's been solved temporarily ... BUT, One person doesn't protect the kids in IRSD. It takes everybody to do that ... including DR. BUNTING, THE SCHOOL BOARD, and all the members of DR. BUNTING'S cabinet. Classic (and very predictable) distraction ... don't fall for it. Don't. This is a classic distraction on IRSD’s part … hire someone over here, to take your attention off of what’s been happening right here, right now. Sure, they need somebody else to fill Goodman’s shoes … no problem … that’s been solved temporarily … BUT,

This might have been the only good move made by a school board for awhile. Hopefully they won't bring back an old principal to take over as the permanent principal after Powell. That would be Mr. Tim Slade. My kids used to come home and tell me about his Goodman like actions but it was always 18 yr olds. My kids went to middle school through Mr. Powell as principal and Mr Buckmaster as assistant and he did a great job. Hopefully they can get this school back on track to buying enough books for the kids to take home to do their homework, and make sure they prep the kids for college and real life. Right now that school is in a debacle. Very good principal. This might have been the only good move made by a school board for awhile.
