Pinheads!

When you live in a wooded area with no fire hydrants, and everything is dry as a bone, having pinhead neighbors setting off all kinds of fireworks for hours on end is unnerving to say the least. I have found spent bottle rockets in my yard, too. Calling the cops is a waste of time because each year I have called them, it takes three hours to respond. I've watched the police cruiser drive slowly down the road then turn around and leave. $25 fines don't deter anyone.

Amazingly, Pennsylvanians are not allowed to buy the fireworks that are sold to Delawareans. They can buy little more than sparklers. It's time for PA law-makers to step in and stop this nonsense which affects New Jersey, too.

There's nothing patriotic about angering the neighbors, blowing your fingers off or setting fire to other people's property.
