Atkins campaign signs get tagged. Atkins supporters fight back with the “thank you” sign.
This sign was up for most of the weekend, but has been since been removed at the request of Representative Hastings.

Atkins didn’t like when Lifflander blamed him and his supporters for destroying her signs but yet he is blaming Hastings. Does he have evidence to support his claim? If not he is a pure hypocrit!

Are we supposed to act like adults or stupid children? I believe putting a sarcastic - “THANK YOU SIGN” - igorant & bad taste. Dan, here’s my prediction: somebody in 41st district is going to seriously hurt through their actions.

Why should they have assumed that a Hastings supporter did this. Possibly the sign defiler only stated the true! I liked a Tuesday morning call from a lady who observed that the number of signs won’t win this race

Its easy to throw around accusations– just ask Dirk Moore. At least Greg Hastings doesn’t live with Atkins- he may be subjected to a beat down.

As far as this stuff goes, everyone knows Atkins is going to win, people just want to give him a hard time on his way. Also, this sign stuff is nothing compared to the Baker, Bennett signs. from defamation, to putting ones sign in front of the other and all the other crap, this is where it is worst!

Hey Bill in the morning ride your bike around the 41st and see how many signs you SEE for support for Adkins. Then as the election day becomes closer take another bike ride and see if you had any impact with your support for Hastings and at that time “if” you see that you had no impact then carry yourself back to NY or wait till votes are counted. Your choice!!!
I live in the 41st and will be voting for ADKINS and trust him in Dover. Hastings has not done nothing for the 41st and liflander is mental and would not trust anything she says………..

They (The DOE) may not count the above write-in for Adkins if they’re not a declared write-in candidate, I’m just sayin’ …

So let me see if I have this right…”Hastings has not done nothing for the 41st and liflander is mental and would not trust anything she says………..” means ADKINS has done enough for some people that it doesn’t matter whether we can trust him or not? How in hell’s name can you say he can be trusted in Dover when he couldn’t even be trusted not to drive after already having been stopped and cautioned, after promising to take the ride home, after expecting the daughter of a life-long friend to continue his lies…a CHILD?? And you would trust him in Dover? From what I’ve been hearing/reading Mr. Adkins has “worked” in office in the past because of “what he did for me”…so is this another scratch my back I’ll scratch yours? We have to be better than this!

Nancy, with all do respect, John has not scratched my back nor do I expect him to. I know both personally (Mr. Adkins and Mr. Hastings) and I am also a republican but chose to vote for Adkins. We all have made mistakes and John did so and gave up his seat, rather it be by pressure are by his own choice. I liked the good he did for the forty-first and on Election Day will be casting my vote for John.
As to Liftlander she has run in three other elections against John and all resulted in a LOSS. She ran her campaigns all the same (my signs are being damaged or I am getting threatening phone calls). I do live in the district and do no see many of her signs around. If liftlander as serious enough to run for office and want to get elected, then she would look at her other FAILED attempts and see how she ran her campaign and make an attempt to change.
Debate the issues Liftlander and you just might get a few more votes!!!!!!!!!!

cmon people, John’s playing you guys like a fiddle. He probably did the painting himself just to get some sympathy. This guy is a fake. It’s like my grandma used to say, “you can’t fix stupid”
