Mr Colley, I would be lying to say that I am not taking pleasure in your eating crow when it comes to your virtuous tautings of Hastings, Biden, et al. However, what I really want to say is “I told you so”
You will never convince me that politicians are virtuous, honest human beings. Sarah Palin, Joe Biden, John Atkins, need I say more? Although I am a supporter of John Atkins, I am not blind to his misdeeds, but, he has done much for the 41st district.
Lets remember that politicians are only human and subject to the same frailities of the rest of us. Good, Bad, or Indifference, it all comes out in the wash.

Starting Friday, this country will judge this candidate for the person that she is. Her true colors will show in the coming weeks. Put dog food in front a dog that you have starved for the last five days and you will sure to see a dog go nuts.
Put thousands of “stepford wifes” at convention, you’ll get the same results.
Both conventions are just a big sham to get us, the commoners, to get excited about nothing.
A politician only does what’s good for his/her party or what is good for themselves.
If McCain was in the lead, he would never have thought about her nor would she or he trash the media.
Opinion polls are great if your on top, just as it’s the media’s fault if you’re behind.
This election, as previous ones, (I’m 51) will not be about the best candidate to lead this country, but who can dish out the most BS, who can be nastier, tell more untruths, and ultimately lie to the American people that world is going to end if the opposing party gets elected. Every time I hear “did a lot for the district” and I’ve heard it for years… I want to ask people to list those things. “He did a lot for veterans!” O.K., what elected official slams doors in faces of veterans? Even Governor Minner makes an effort here. Did the candidate drop off hot dogs at the Little League park? Buy everybody a round? Shake your hand?

As for your comments on John Atkins, Im beginning to believe your gripe with him maybe a little more personal than your spouting from on high for us “you people” Im wondering also how much time you spend in the 41st district? Do you live in our little corner of the world, or are you just repeating hearsay? His opponent has done nothing for veterans or little league and wouldnt even be in the race if John Atkins were not running. She is kidding no one when she says she wants “to bring an authentic democrat” to Dover, she is it only in it for one reason, which has nothing to do with the voters of the 41st district.
As joemomma has said, GOD BLESS YOU, He knows better than us that you need it. Like your Momma should have told you, If you cant say anything nice about someone dont say anything at all.

Birds of a feather flock together. If some of you support evil actions then we can say you lack proper moral foundation. No state can long last with such poor leadership and certainly not with such poor constituents.

Evil actions? Billions of dollars lost driving our deficit to profound levels, over 4000 of our brave soldiers mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters lost in a war to fight terrorism, (is Osama in Iraq?) Days of human sufferage after Katrina, (yes, I know your answer, should have evacuated, but when else in history did the US govenment turn it’s back on it’s own people? PURE INGORANCE AND EVIL!

Interesting how the liberals always point blame at Bush. I’m no friend of Bush, but that’s because when it comes to growing the size of government he’s a full blown liberal!
Mr. Colley, hang in there. You do a good job. Just ignore the rabid liberals and socialists. With their preference towards partners that cannot reproduce, and their preference towards abortion over birth, we will eventually be totally rid of their kind.
