  7. joemomma Says:

I admit that I was not a Bill Lee fan, but after reading his concession speach, I realize I was correct. If you want to beat down your opponant saying that “Jack is taking us in the wrong direction” do it at a differtent time. The people of Delaware have spoke! You were a weak candidate and a sore loser. Find your bar stool, I’ve been keeping it warm for you since you announced you were runnung. This was not a good year to have an “R” next to your name.

  8. Pat Patterson Says:

You’re right, Joe. Any one with an ‘R’ after their name ANYWHERE was in danger of losing a seat - or not getting one in the first place. Here in Ohio, for example, the 16th congressional district seat was held by Ralph Regula for 36 years. He announced he was not running for re-election (he is 83 years old, and will be 84 next month) and hand-picked local Columbus representative Kirk Schuring to take his place. Schuring has served in Columbus for years and has served well. He was defeated by a Johnny-come-lately, John Boccieri, mainly for the ‘D’ after his name as opposed to what he has done himself in Columbus.

That is just one of many examples I could site. But I agree, Joe, that the WRONG time to dog your opponent is in the concession speech. In your concession speech, your goal is unity, not division.

  9. potnetgal Says:

AMEN Pat Patterson!! You have stated facts without being a “sore loser” as we have seen many of the past election. But, the people have spoken and its time for a change
