How do you define real american, Bill? Does bringing two rival street gangs together in the music video : “Beat it” - count or doing USA for African famine charity in 1980’s count? I consider it as being real american. There’s one thing that I don’t consider - “Real American” - being physically abused by his own family member, Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson.
