UPDATED – 8/20/16 – 9am – A 12 boy was pulled from the pool at the Flamingo Motel in Ocean City Thursday evening in cardiac arrest. EMS officials were called to the 30th Street motel around 8:25pm. Bystanders performed CPR on the boy until EMS crews arrived and took him to Atlantic General Hospital and then flown to Johns Hopkins in serious condition. Ocean City officials were told by witnesses that the child was playing in the pool and waded into the deep end. He was not able to swim and went under the water.
A boy was pulled from the pool of the Flamingo Motel Thursday evening in cardiac arrest. The call for help was received around 8:25 p.m. for the motel which is on the corner of 30th Street at Baltimore Avenue in downtown Ocean City.
Bystanders performed CPR on the boy until EMS crews arrived and took him to the hospital. No word yet from officials on the boy’s condition. Police are investigating.
