Beth McGinn, Board Chair of the Home of the Brave, joined us this morning about the opening of the Womens Home of the Brave for women who have served this country and need some assistance to get back on their feet. If you would like to help these local heroes, please call 302-424-1681 for a list of items they need for the home. They are looking for furniture, computers, linens for the bathrooms and kitchen and are relying strictly on donations from community since there is no new VA funding available.
The address for the Home of the Brave for Women is 9 Causey Ave. Milford, De. They should be available to accept their first residents in the beginning of 2014.
