For the third straight spring, Dover International Speedway will offer race fans the unique, free opportunity to roam the frontstretch of the Monster Mile with the return of the 5-hour ENERGY Open Track Session.
The event will be on Saturday, June 1, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Fans should enter the track at Gate 18 outside of Turn 1, and will have the ability to walk the frontstretch of the track and see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars on pit road preparing for the morning practice session. As an added bonus, Clint Bowyer, driver of the No. 15 5-hour ENERGY Toyota, and his team owner Michael Waltrip, will drop by to participate in a free question-and-answer session at 9 a.m. on the prerace stage at the start-finish line for fans in attendance. The Dover International Speedway pace car will also be on display for photo opportunities.
