Monster Mile To Become First NASCAR Track to Use Paperless Ticketing System Flash Seats

Feb 05, 2013 -- 2:46pm

Race fans who will be attending this year’s race weekends at the Monster Mile in Dover will now be able to go paperless when they get their tickets at the track.

Dover International Speedway has announced that starting this season, customers can use “Flash Seats,” the paperless ticketing system from Veritix, the track’s ticket provider. Race fans will be able to use just a credit card to swipe in on race day. Flash Seats will allow fans to transfer tickets electronically to anyone, anywhere at any time, right up until the green flag waves. Track officials say the system will also eliminate issues with lost and stolen tickets, in addition to being more eco-friendly.

Dover is the first NASCAR track to use Flash Seats.
