Construction around lakes will be on the agenda for tonight Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners Meeting.
A public hearing will be held on a proposed ordinance that would amend the City Code to require building permits for a structure within 25 feet of Lake Gerar or Silver Lake. The ordinance will then be considered by the Commissioners. The Commissioners will also consider adopting a resolution to schedule a public hearing on a proposed ordinance that would establish a 10-foot “No-Build Buffer” zone around the edge of the lakes.
The meeting will begin at 7 o’clock in the Commissioner’s Room inside the Municipal Building on Rehoboth Avenue.
