Magnolia Man Arrested For Driving Under Influence of Pot After Traffic Stop in Harrington

A Magnolia man has a court date after being stopped for driving under the influence of drugs.

Harrington Police say on Thursday, 25-year-old Bruce Brown was stopped for a traffic violation. Officers say as they were talking with him, they smelled marijuana coming from his vehicle. Nearly five grams of marijuana was found in the vehicle.

Brown was arrested after going through field sobriety tests. He’s been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of a drug, driving with expired tags and failing to have visible rear lights.
