Six Unforgettable Train Trips in the USA

Feb 17, 2013 -- 7:30am

One of the most fun topics I've covered on the show was this one. If you've never traveled by train I can't recommend trying it highly enough.

As I said, when I was in Morocco, my Navy buddies and I traveled the country by train. Unless you had a car it was about the only way to see it. We would take the liberty bus from the base to Kenitra, then walk to the train station. From there we took trips to Tangier, Fez, Rabat, Casablanca, and Marakesh. I fell in love with train-travel. Try it and, I'm sure, you will, too.
