Ocean City Assistant Director of Planning and Community Development Blaine Smith was recently elected to the American Association of Code Enforcement’s board of directors, in the position of treasurer. 

AACE is a national non-profit trade association representing code professionals in the United States and Canada.

Since being hired with the Town of Ocean City in 1985 as a Zoning Administrator, Smith has been involved in various state and national organizations in the community planning field.
