Newark Man In Jail After Domestic Dispute In Harrington Hotel

Apr 01, 2013 -- 9:35am

A Newark man is in prison after being arrested following a domestic dispute.

On Sunday afternoon, Harrington Police were called to the Holiday Inn Express on Route 13 for a domestic dispute in progress. Officers say the victim told them that 33-year-old Joshua Miller got into a fight in the victim’s hotel room, and was assaulted and barred from leaving the room, and Miller took the cell phone so the victim couldn’t call 9-1-1.

Miller has been charged with third-degree assault, offensive touching, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, disorderly conduct, and malicious interference with emergency communications. He’s being held at SCI on $2,000 bond.
