Crowds Flocking To OC Inlet For 23rd Annual Springfest

May 03, 2013 -- 6:04pm

Thousands of visitors from throughout the Mid-Atlantic are flocking to the Inlet parking lot in Ocean City for the 23rd annual Springfest this weekend. On Friday, they braved a cool, stiff sea breeze as they walked through the parking lot to enjoy live music, and also peruse the arts and craft and food tents. Those who did go outside to enjoy the concerts were bundled up in sweatshirts and hats.

The Friday headline concert is rising country star Justin Moore, who's toured with some of the biggest stars in country music, including Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton. The concert is free, and will begin at 8. Saturday night, 80's rock group Foreigner will take the stage at 8 to play before a sold-out crowd. On Sunday, "2U: A U2 Tribute Band" will play a free show starting at 4:30.

Springfest will run through 10 o'clock Friday night, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
