Preliminary hearings have been delayed for two Parksley residents charged with setting numerous arsons in Accomack County.
38-year-old Charles Smith and his 40-year-old fiance Tonya Bundick had been scheduled to appear in court today for their preliminary hearings. However, the defense attorneys have requested psychological evaluations for their clients. So today’s preliminary hearings have been re-scheduled for June 17.
Smith and Bundick were arrested last month and have admitted that they set a majority of the fires in Accomack County since last November.
