A number of roads were either closed or became difficult to navigate as more than six inches of rain fell in some parts of eastern Sussex County. However, there are still some road closures to report this morning.
Route 54 is closed at Sand Cove Road between Selbyville and Fenwick Island because of high water on the road. Zoar Road is closed near the intersection of Lawson Road between Georgetown and Millsboro due to the failure of an underground pipe. Robin Hood Road near Delmar is closed due to high water.
