Senator Chris Coons will speak at a briefing about fibrotic diseases tomorrow in Washington.
As part of National Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, Senator Coons will give opening remarks at the briefing entitled “Fatal Fibrotic Diseases: The Challenges and the Path Forward to Finding Cures.” The briefing is being sponsored by the American Thoracic Society. Fibrotic diseases have killed hundreds of thousands of people, and have posed a challenge for decades to researchers who are trying to learn more about them.
The briefing will be held at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning inside the Capitol Visitor Center.
