RSVP Members Will Be Honored During Ceremony at Chase Center in Wilmington

Older volunteers will be recognized by the Governor today.

Senior volunteers who’ve done at least 50 hours of community service as part of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will be recognized today by Governor Jack Markell and Department of Health and Social Services Secretary Rita Landgraf during a ceremony today at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. RSVP participants partner with 85 nonprofit organizations throughout New Castle County. Volunteers in RSVP range in age from 55 to 98.

Today’s ceremony will begin at noon.
