Worker’s comp rates in Delaware will go up by double digits, but not as much as first proposed.
Insurance Commissioner Karen Weldin Stewart has approved the Delaware Compensation Rating Bureau’s amended filing for increasing worker’s compensation insurance rates. Rates will increase by an average of 14.6 percent on regular market customers, and 19 percent for those who can’t get coverage on the regular market.
The Delaware Compensation Rating Bureau had proposed increasing those rates by 38.3 and 43.5 percent, respectively.
