The boundaries of State Police barracks Troop 3 in Woodside and Troop 9 in Odessa will begin to be realigned.  The new boundaries will have Troop 9 handling calls for northern Kent County – from the Kent-New Castle line south to Denney’s Road.  Troop 3 will handle the rest of Kent County, however the Criminal Investigative Units – including the Drug Unit & Governor’s Task Force personnel will not be affected and will serve all of Kent County.  Police are ensuring public safety will not be compromised during the realignment process.
