The man who accused Rehoboth Beach Police of using excessive force during a scuffle that was posted on YouTube is dead.

Police in Silver Spring Township, Pennsylvania say 34-year-old Jeremy Anderson of Mechanicsburg was run over and killed by a minivan driven by his girlfriend, 36-year-old Esther Brubaker, around 6 o’clock Monday night. She’s been charged with homicide by vehicle and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Neighbors say they heard the couple arguing before the crash. Police say drugs or alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

In April, Anderson was arrested for being drunk and disorderly by Rehoboth Beach Police after getting into an argument with a clerk at the Crosswinds Motel. A video of the arrest, during which Anderson was tased and an officer appeared to kick him, went viral on YouTube.
