Federalsburg Police are investigating an attempted child abduction Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the 12-year-old was walking in the 300-block of West Central Avenue around 3 p.m., when the suspect pulled up in his car with dark tinted windows; the child was able to get away.

Witnesses told police, the suspect was African American and was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.
