The Blue Collar Task Force has 2 more meetings – including one in Sussex County before they report to Governor Jack Markell and the General Assembly in January. The Blue Collar Task Force will be in Camden on Wednesday to take testimony from the public. Blue Collar jobs are the backbone of the economy and the state’s middle class – but they’ve taken a real hit over the past few years – and that’s left thousands of Delaware families struggling. Wednesday’s meeting is at the state Agriculture Department meeting room. Then next week, the task force moves to Sussex County for a meeting on Wednesday, November 20 at the U-D Carvel Research & Education Center on Route 9. Testimony will be taken at both meetings from 5:30 to 8pm.
