Delaware State Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Convenience Store in Dover

Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a convenience store in Dover.

Troopers say around 6 o’clock Monday evening, a man walked into the Shore Stop on Route 13 in Dover, showed a handgun in his waistband to the woman working behind the counter, and demanded money from the cash register. The woman handed over some money, and the man ran towards the Rodney Village neighborhood.

The robber is black, between 5-foot-9 and 6 feet tall, and 145 to 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white drawstrings, a baseball hat, light blue jeans and black sneakers.
