Sussex Tech Custodian Arrested for Having A Sexual Relationship with Student

Delaware State Police have arrested a Sussex Tech High School custodian who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female student.

Last May, police say they were contacted by a relative of a now 19- year-old, stating that she was involved in a sexual relationship with an adult male employee at Sussex Tech while she was a student there.

An investigation revealed that  29-year-old Timothy Morris of Seaford and the student had an apparent sexual relationship but the female did not wish to proceed any further with the investigation.

This past Wednesday, school administrators contacted police after they were informed by the 16-year-old student currently attending the school that she was being sexually harassed. 

Morris is charged with 25 counts of 4th degree rape by a person in position of trust, 25 counts of 2nd degree unlawful sexual contact, continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual harassment. Morris was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $208,500 cash bail.
