Delaware is one of only two states in the country that received perfect scores in a national analysis of state education data systems.
Delaware and Arkansas received perfect scores in the Data Quality Campaign’s analysis. The states were the only ones to achieve all 10 of their goals in their State Actions to Ensure Effective Data Use. It was the first time perfect scores have been awarded in the nine-year history of the analysis. The Data Quality Campaign praised Delaware for providing parents and educators alike with better access to education data.
Secretary of Education Mark Murphy says the Department of Education is grateful for the hard work and partnership of educators, parents and policymakers who came together to make sure the data is used to better meet student needs.
