A Leipsic woman and her boyfriend are charged with murder and other offenses in stabbing death of her father, 45 year old Tony Mozick.  Mozick’s mother filed a missing person report January 8th after not hearing from him since the 5th – he gets medication from her daily for a disability.  State Police learned that in December, Mozick was the victim of a domestic assault at his daughter’s home where he was attacked by his daughter, 23 year old Jennifer Barnes and her boyfriend, 24 year old Gerard Schweiger - both were issued a no contact order. On January 15, police searched Barnes’s home and found blood and a piece of carpet missing.  The investigation showed that January 5th Schweiger stabbed Mozick multiple times – stuffed his body into a plastic container and later dumped it into the Liepsic River.  Police and DNREC officials are still looking for Mozick’s body.  If you have information–call Crime Stoppers.
