Polar Bears Raise Record Funds for Special Olympics Delaware

Today’s Polar Bear Plunge in Rehoboth Beach has broken records in the money raised for Special Olympics Delaware.  The air temperature was a rather pleasant 50-degrees this morning and officials say 3252 polar bears took part in the plunge.  However the ocean water temperature was 34 degrees.  The plungers have raised over $725,000.  Next year's Plunge is set for February 1st, 2015.
