Selbyville resident Carolyn Outlaw Kuhn has written a book called “Suffering in Silence.”
Kuhn tells WGMD it’s a memoir of a dysfunctional family'spainful journey in coping with life's hardships, including alcoholism, a family rape, an incarceration, abandonment and abuse.
Kuhn says you can pick up copies of her book by going to her website at http://www.outshirtspress.com/sufferinginsilence.
The book is paperback and cost $10.95
Kuhn is having a book signing tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mio’s on Route 54 in Selbyville. She says a portion of the proceeds from the book will be donated to Survivors of Abuse in Recovery, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing mental health services to those affected by sexual abuse.
