Comptroller Franchot Creates New Task Force

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot has created a new task force to look into Maryland’s alcohol laws. Task force members will include craft brewers, consumers and other industry stakeholders. The team will hold public meetings throughout the state over the next few months to develop legislative proposals based on other states’ laws and feedback from you. You can give your input at any of these town halls or on Facebook on the Reform On Tap page. The Reform on Tap task force comes just hours after the passing of House Bill 1283, which limits growth of the state’s craft breweries.
