Contract Negotiations to Begin with Dewey Town Manager Candidate

The Town of Dewey Beach has been without a town manager since Marc Appelbaum vacated the position last October.  A search committee was put together last fall – the town received about 25 applications from candidates interested in the town manager’s position.  After narrowing the list to 4 candidates, Dewey Beach commissioners during this week’s council meeting voted to begin contract negotiations with Scott Koenig, the former city manager of Dover.  Koenig retired from that position last spring.
