Cortez Hamilton Sentenced to 25 Years in Wife’s Murder

A Smyrna man will spend the next 25 years in prison for 2nd degree murder. 35 year old Cortez Hamilton pleaded guilty to his wife’s murder before authorities recovered her remains – just a few months ago. In January of 2015, Keisha Hamilton was reported missing and blood found in the hallway of the Hamilton home. Cortez Hamilton left Delaware with his 2 young children – and was arrested in Indiana a few weeks later as part of an Amber Alert. Part of Hamilton’s plea agreement was providing the location of Keisha’s remains.
