UPDATED: DSP Identify Victim in Crash West of Magnolia

UPDATED – 10-20-18  3pm –  Delaware State Police say 62 year old Paul Schiller of Felton died in a crash Friday just after noon west of Magnolia.   Police continue to investigate but say Schiller’s motorcycle and a DART Transit Bus were heading towards each other on Irish Hill Road when the bus began to turn left onto Lexington Mill Road – and crossed into the path of the motorcycle.  Schiller was wearing a helmet, but was pronounced dead at the scene.  The bus driver – a 55 year old man from Smyrna was treated for minor injuries – there was no one else on the bus.

A Felton man is dead after a motorcycle crash Friday just after noon on Irish Hill Road at the intersection of Lexington Mill Road.  Delaware State Police say a DART Transit Bus was westbound and began to turn left onto Lexington Mill Road – into the path of the motorcycle.   The 62 year old rider on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet – he was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the bus – a 55 year old man from Smyrna was properly restrained and treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for minor injuries.  There was no one else on the bus.  The investigation is continuing.
