DDD Spring 2017 Funding Now Open

The Delaware State Housing Authority announced Thursday that the Spring 2017 funding for the Downtown Development Districts grant program is now open. You can receive a grant rebate of up to 20 percent if your property investment qualifies as a commercial, industrial, residential or mixed-use building in each designated downtown district. There are eight districts in total: Georgetown Laurel, Milford, Harrington, Seaford, Dover, Smyrna and Wilmington. If you’re making a property investment between $15,000-250,000, you can apply on a rolling basis until funding is gone. If your investment is greater than $250,000, you’ll have to apply for a Large Project Reservation before May 15 at 4 p.m.
